Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of www.skuldalid.studio (the “site”), operated by Skuldalid Studio, an appointment-only studio in Kuils River, Cape Town, South Africa. By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms, our studio policies and our privacy policy.

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or are used for abuse or fraud.

A booking made on the site is a request. It becomes a confirmed appointment only when your artist confirms it, which may follow a quote and a deposit. Available times shown on the site are a guide and can change until confirmed.

Deposits, cancellations, lateness, age and health requirements are covered in our studio policies, which form part of these terms.

Prices are in South African rand (ZAR). Prices shown on the site are a guide; the price in your confirmed quote applies. We may correct obvious errors in prices or availability.

You agree not to:

• make false or abusive bookings, or book on someone else’s behalf without permission;
• interfere with the site’s security, or scrape, overload or attack it;
• use automated tools to create accounts or bookings;
• upload or send unlawful, offensive or infringing content.

The site’s design, text, logos and photos, and the artwork shown in our gallery, belong to Skuldalid Studio or its artists. You may view and share links to them, but you may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without written permission. Artists are responsible for the profile and portfolio content they publish.

The site links to services such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them.

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
